|Description||CAPE is a membership organization for health professionals * works to protect the environment in order to protect human health * education and advocacy on issues including pesticides, energy and climate change, organics, green hospitals and active transportation
CAPE is affiliated with the International Society of Doctors for the Environment
|Hours||Mon-Fri 10 am-6 pm|
|Fees||Membership - Students, retirees, those with limited income: $25; Member organizations and non-physicians: $50; Physicians: $100; Supporters: $200 ; Donation - CAPE welcomes additional donations. If you would like a tax receipt for your donation you can give to the CHEER Foundation. CHEER funds are used only for environmental health research and education purposes. ; Supporters have a membership with honourary mention, plus a free copy of The Canadian Guide to Health and the Environment.
As CAPE provides information related to medical practice, self-employed health care professionals can deduct their membership fee as a professional expense.
