Coach new patients over the phone. The aim is to relieve a patients anxiety by speaking with someone who has already undergone the procedure. Within 48 hours of receiving the request for services, the Foundation advises the client of the Ortho Connect volunteer's name. The Ortho Connect volunteer then contacts the client by phone, and service begins. All interaction between volunteers and clients is done by phone.
