Do you have access to a car? Do you have a couple of spare hours a week? We’ll help you spend it meaningfully. The Bernard Betel Centre is urgently seeking drivers for its Meals on Wheels program. This is your opportunity to support the community by providing a hot nutritious meal to a homebound senior. Shifts run Monday to Thursday 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and Friday 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Meals are delivered in Thornhill and North York, primarily along Bathurst Street, between Highway 7 & Wilson. Approximately 10-12 deliveries per route. Mileage is reimbursed. Currently we are looking for volunteers who can commit to a regular shift on Tuesdays or Fridays. 
 
Can’t commit to a regular schedule? We always have space for ‘back up’ drivers who can assist at short notice.
