We are looking for high school age volunteers that have a willingness to work with children. Volunteers can volunteer for one or more days during the week.
Volunteers are asked to arrive between 8:00 and 8:15 am each morning. Sessions begin at 8:30 am and finish at Noon except on Friday when a lunch is planned for parents and guests. Volunteers are invited to stay for the lunch but not obligated.

This volunteer opportunity would be best suited to someone considering a career path in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Teaching or a related field. You be implementing the application of Intensive Behavior Intervention and Pivotal Response Techniques.Volunteers would be trained and working in conjunction with Dr. Amanda Azarbehi of Kids Solutions, Baldwin, Ontario. Kids Solutions licensed psychologists and childhood specialists work with Parents, Early Childhood Educators, Teachers, and schools to design individualized solutions that maximize a child's ability to reach their potential. The experts are cutting-edge professionals with experience working with children and adolescents with a variety of challenges including: Autism, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Behavioral Problems, and a wide range of Developmental Delays.
The child you would be working with along with other team members is a 2 year old boy who was recently diagnosed with Moderate Severity Autism. In an effort to offset the costs of coaching, we are currently searching for 2 volunteers to learn and be a part of this child's development team.
