DutiesAssist victims of crime and tragic circumstances in partnership with York Region Police and Ontario Provincial Police. Victim Services offers clients 24 hour crisis intervention service which includes emotional support, practical assistance and referrals to community resources.

Take a minimum of two 12 hour shifts per month. Attend all mandatory Volunteer Development Meetings held the third Wednesday of each month.

Applicants must be a resident of York Region. 
Personal references. 
At least 2 years since any traumatic incidents in your life. 
3 Reference. Must attend a personal interview with the VSY screening panel. Successfully completed Volunteer Training ( a minimum of 44 hours of training by VSY)
