Description	Markham has a permanent dog leash-free area at the northwest corner of Miller Ave and Rodick Road, as shown:    The town has established the following rules of conduct for the leash-free area:  -Dog must be kept on a leash until inside the leash-free area, and put back on a leash before leaving the leash-free area  -Dogs may not be left unattended in the leash-free area. All dogs must be under the supervision and full control of an adult.   -As per Bylaw 2001-23, dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets  -All dogs must be licensed and have up-to-date vaccinations, including those for kennel cough  -Residents are advised to closely supervise children within the leash free area  -Residents are encouraged to spay or neuter their dogs if using the leash-free area     Users must respect all rules posted within the leash-free area
