| Description | Recreational and competitive baseball (hardball) for boys and girls 5-21 years old, from T-Ball to Junior levels in House League, Select League and Rep League. Markham District Baseball Association is a member of the York-Simcoe Baseball Association, Select Ontario Baseball Association (SOBA) and Baseball Ontario (OBA). Full uniforms are provided for all players (T-Ball-T-shirt and hat only), as well as team photos, which is included in the registration fee. The season runs from mid-May-early Sep Programs Offered: House League Recreational baseball for players of all skill levels. Culminates in season playoffs and championship weekend Select League Competitive baseball for skilled players (tryouts required). Select teams compete within York and South Durham areas against other SOBA (Select Ontario Baseball Association) member teams and in Select Tournaments. Teams compete to represent York Region in the SOBA Provincial Tournament Rep League Competitive baseball for elite players (tryouts required). Rep teams compete against other YSBA Baseball Ontario Rep Teams and in Rep Tournaments. Teams compete to represent York Region in the Baseball Ontario Provincial Championship Tournament | |||
