| Description | Annual Santa Claus Parade. Over 80 floats and organizations participating in this event. Road closures start at 9am. Parade Route: The parade starts at 11am and goes north on Main Street Markham starting at Highway 7 and ending at the Markham Museum. This event is organized by the Rotary Club of Markham Sunrise Inc. To register a float/band for the parade call 416-229-2581 ext. 23. Follow us on twitter: @MarkhamSanta Enjoy the sights of a traditional old-fashioned Christmas with Victorian carollers, strolling entertainers, petting zoo, magic shows, visit with Santa and more. Stores on Main Street Markham are staying open for the event. Play ball hockey, free horse and wagon rides and live entertainment. Festival of Lights 12pm - 10pm At 7 pm the lighting of the 30' Christmas Tree and then fireworks! | |||
