Founded in 1908, cbm Canada helps over 12 million sick and disabled people each year at more than 1,000 projects in over 100 of the world's poorer countries.  
Since its beginning in 1978, cbm Canada has endeavoured to make Canadians aware of the needs of people who are disabled or at risk of disability in developing countries.  
Talking Book Library: The Talking Book Library was developed by cbm Canada to serve the needs of print-disabled Canadians.
