DescriptionVirtual Schooling in the York Region District School Board provides a variety of credit courses for students * fully certified teachers will support students as they work through the courses to ensure that they can get the help that is needed for success in their studies * collaborative work sessions, chat and email will allow students to work with other students in the course.
HoursThe office is open Monday through Friday on all working days. Please call to schedule an appointment if you would like to visit us in person.

EligibilityDo I have enough self-discipline to get my work done? Am I motivated to do my best? Can I commit a consistent effort and time (8-10 hours - per week per subject for fall and winter sessions - per day for the summer session) to my studies? Can I manage my time in order to complete assigned work by the required dates? Can I learn and work independently? Am I willing and confident to contact my teachers when I have questions? Do I own or have access to a computer with Internet access and e-mail? If you answered "YES" to ALL of the questions above, online learning may be an attractive option for your educational needs. If you answered "NO" to one or more questions, you may want to resolve or improve in these areas prior to attempting online courses.
