| Description | Encouraging the interest and improvement in horticulture by holding meetings for instruction and discussion of horticulture; staging exhibitions of flowers, fruits, vegetables and plants; distributing seeds, plants, bulbs and flowers; providing horticultural information in the media. Encouraging the improvement of private and public grounds, highways and streets by: planting trees, shrubs and flowers; town beautification, community gardening, balcony gardening, and protecting our environment.
