DescriptionProvides a range of psycho-social services for children, youth and families who live in the Region of York multi-disciplinary team based upon an holistic approach to social, emotional, academic and familial needs 
 
Day Treatment Services: Offered to children and youth whose complex mental health needs cannot be addressed by the regular school system designed to meet the needs of children/youth and their families experiencing a variety of social, emotional, behavioural, and academic difficulties 
 
Zero to 6 Services: Region partnership program comprised of Blue Hills Child and Family Services, Kinark Child and Family Services, and The York Centre provides mental health services to York Region residents who have children, six or under, with moderate to severe behavioural problems difficulties such as hyperactivity, language delays or sensory integration problems 
 
Community and Group Services: The York Centre provides group services, workshops, and seminars in the community works directly with children and youth between the ages of 5 to 18 to promote mental health and reduce violence within the community
