| Description | To meet the immediate needs of those with MS * To improve the quality of life of those both in the community and in institutions * Do not provide therapy or counselling * Provides information on MS and refer to government programs and financial assistance for equipment and some services * Information is available to health professionals and the general public * MS Pathways is a free and confidential support service devoted to people living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) 1-800-977-2770 * An MS Pathways nurse is available 8 am to 8 pm Monday to Friday and Saturday from 10am to 6 pm EST * The MS Pathways nurse can help face the challenges of MS by providing, emotion support after diagnosis, answers to questions about MS and contact information for resources in your community * Support Groups Online: - Children who have a parent with MS: www.msforkids.com - For teens who have a parent with MS: www.msforteens.com - For a parent with MS: www.msforparents.com | |||
