| Description | Mental health clinic for children and youth up to the age of 18. Family assessment and consultation for families with troubled children. Variety of services to help the family deal with the child at home. Services include: Assessment and Consultation (home and school assessment after referral by agent); Intensive Family Therapy Unit (IFTU) - admits entire families for brief assessment and treatment; Family and Special School Services (FSSS) - day treatment in classrooms in local schools; Home Support Service - intensive assistance to families in their own homes as well as to children in school; Family Care Program - alternative to residential treatment of children in therapeutic foster care; Outpatient Services - treatment for families in the community; Family Evaluation Clinic (DEC)- assessment of children with developmental delays. |
