| Description | The Victim/Witness Assistance Program is designed to help those who are involved in a criminal case, either because they are victims of a crime, or because they have been called as witnesses to testify in the case. Services include: TOUR OF THE COURTROOM; EMOTIONAL SUPPORT; INFORMATION (Program staff will go over your case with you and answer any questions about the status of your case); REFERRALS; RETURN OF PROPERTY (if your property has been used as evidence, program staff will help arrange for it to be returned to you as soon as possible), etc. | |||
