|Description||The 35 members of the Newmarket & Area Branch of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers' Association are highly qualified music instructors with certification and degrees in their specialized fields. Piano lessons, singing lessons, violin lessons, and other instrumental lessons (clarinet, flute, alto/tenor saxophone, trumpet) are given by qualified & experienced instructors. |
ORMTA Newmarket & Area Branch offers local music teachers periodic workshops to further their professional knowledge and skills. It holds five general meetings each year where teachers network, organize activities, and discuss teaching issues. It also hosts a variety of student events anually.

|Fees||There is annual ORMTA membership fee of $130 for teachers. A nominal branch levy of $40 supports local teacher services. Student participation fees fund special events such as evaluations, recitals, and competitions.|
