| Description | Part of a network of offices in Ontario providing entrepreneurs and small businesses with a one-stop resource centre for business related guidance and assistance. Provides assistance and support to business start-ups and small to medium-sized enterprises with under 10 employees during the first 5 yrs of operation. Counselling and information for businesses and entrepreneurs about programs, services, and regulations relevant to starting and operating a small business. This includes access to mentoring, marketing, management, technology and financing. Referrals to local financiers, bankers, accountants, lawyers, consultants, mentors and other entrepreneurs. The Centre is administered by an experienced Small Business Consultant and is supported by York Region's Economic Development and Planning staff. We can refer you to the local business network of financiers, bankers, accountants, lawyers, educators, consultants, mentors and other entrepreneurs.
